Kaveripakkam College of Arts and Science was established in the academic year 2005 - 06 under Sri Venkateswara Educational Society. Being affiliated to the Thiruvalluvar University the college offers B.Com., B.B.A., and B.Sc., ( Maths) B.C.A., B.Sc., ( Chemistry), B.Sc., ( Micro Biology), and B.A. ( Tamil ) for the academic year 2006 - 07 onwards.

Sri Venkateswara Educational Society was formed in the year 2004 by the conscious efforts of Mrs.S.Jayalakshmi, Mrs.C.Meera and Mrs.P.Anitha.

The aim of the college is to prepare the students academically, train them physically and hone them mentally to enable them enter into any walk of life and to make them realise and respect the culture of the country.
